Braelyn Cyr is a Mi'kmaq artist, born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, who has recently graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design's Wabanaki Visual Arts program. Her primary focus is creating Wampum belts as well as writing and illustrating her own Indigenous children's books in order to connect her heritage to modern-day society.
